During the tour of the production site you will learn all sorts of interesting facts, but there will also be plenty of fun. You can recreate short film scenes yourself in some of the original sets. The National Theater on Max-Joseph-Platz is the venue for the Bavarian State Opera and the Bavarian State Ballet. The Bavarian State Opera is one of the largest artistic and musical companies in the world. Guided tours of the National Theater take place several times a week and last approximately 60 minutes.

The Gasteig is right on the Isar, above the German Museum. The large cultural center offers space for exhibitions, concerts and houses a large city library where readings take place regularly. The dining establishments, such as the trendy restaurant Gast or the integrative cafeteria Conviva, invite you to linger and make the Gasteig a popular meeting place in Munich. The Munich Philharmonic Orchestra has its main practice and performance headquarters in the Gasteig.

This society has now become something of a small tight-knit circle of entertainment and literature addicts, because anyone who has peeked through the curtain and enjoyed the idea will definitely come back. The program consists of a wide variety of cabaret artists who are currently roaming the German countryside or who simply enjoy performing in the Lach und Schiessgesellschaft. From the outside the theater looks completely inconspicuous. Only a small illuminated sign reminds us of what is hidden behind the stone facades in the back corner of the Schwabing local center around Münchner Freiheit. Inside, you might almost think you've walked into a normal bar. However, the stray eye will soon turn to the right and spot all sorts of objects on the raised platform, which the cabaret artist will use to illustrate their performance.

The Schauspielhaus on Maximilianstrasse is one of the last and best-preserved Art Nouveau theaters in Germany. It was built by the architects Richard Riemerschmied and Max Littmann in 1900/1901. The auditorium has a total of 690 seats, of which 482 are in the stalls and 208 in the balcony and boxes. The stage has a total area of 162 m². The listed building was extensively renovated and restored between 2000 and 2003.

The Bavarian People's Observatory in Munich - founded in 1947 - is a non-profit association that has set itself the task of communicating astronomy to interested laypeople in a generally understandable form. The association currently has over 600 members, many of whom volunteer on the public tours. For many years, the public observatory has received a fixed subsidy from the state capital of Munich - cultural department, without which the operation of the observatory would not be possible.

The Munich Theater for Children has been around for more than 40 years. It first played in the former theater on Leopoldstrasse and has now been at Dachauer Strasse 46, a former cinema, for 30 years. There you can see the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm, your favorite stories by Janosch, Astrid Lindgren and Otfried Preußler, opera adaptations, musicals and much more. Because all children aged 4 and over should be offered good entertainment and varied hours.

From 1900 to 1901, the Prinzregententheater was built by Max Littmann based on the model of the Bayreuth Richard Wagner Festival Hall and opened on August 21, 1901 with “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg” by Richard Wagner. Over time, the stage was used in a variety of ways, in the summer months for the Richard Wagner Festival and from 1919 to 1944 by the Bavarian State Theater as a spoken theater. From 1944 to 1963 it housed the Bavarian State Opera. The Prinzregententheater has been home to the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding since 1993.

The Gärtnerplatz Theater with its unmistakable facade is located on the circular Gärtnerplatz, in the center of the Isarvorstadt, which was built around 1860 and is located between the Viktualienmarkt and the Isar floodplains. Owned by the Free State of Bavaria since 1937, Munich's friendly opera house has a wide-ranging program; all works are performed in German. While the repertoire until 1955 was primarily characterized by operettas, today the program includes operas from Mozart to Stravinsky, as well as musicals and performances by its own ballet ensemble as well as the “Jazz im Gärtnerplatz” series.
